Zalikha has experience in the early childhood field and started her career in 2016. She likes to read novels and educational journals. Other than reading, she also loves sewing and applying the knowledge she has learnt, getting a certificate from Giatmara. She has been interested in teaching since childhood. She continued her study in Diploma Islamic Early Childhood Education and graduated with Second Class Honours in the Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies from International Islamic College in collaboration with Teesside University, United Kingdom. While studying in Bachelors, she also completed her dissertation about parent’s view on physical development of young children. Zalikha has been involved as well in providing childcare and activities for children to NGOs. From this experience, she learnt how to teach young children and attract the children to learning.
She supported Maria Montessori quotes that in the first years of life, the child not only increases in size but passes through great transformations. This is the age in which language and movement develop. She also believes that teaching is not just about how much you can teach, but it’s how much children can understand what they are learning.
